Description
  • Lead the transformation and aggressive modernization of our core business systems.
  • Support the GRM US strategic objective of being #1 in the Independent Agent (IA) channel.
  • Drive performance and stability optimizations for the platform while providing technical leadership across the community.
  • Focus on quality, engineering excellence, and scalability to drive long-term expansion and success of the business.
  • Lead deliveries of flagship initiatives and commitments.
  • Drive engineering excellence with participation in the High-Performance Engineering program.
  • Maximize reuse by demonstrating championing common software patterns and designing componentized features.
  • Domestic travel required up to 10%.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Software Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires demonstrable experience in the following:

  • Java and Springboot.
  • JAXB and Eclipse.
  • Databases.
  • Working with GitHub.
  • CI/CD; DevOps; Jira; Maven and AWS associated technologies.
  • Travel required up to 10%.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
