WSP is seeking a Principal Stakeholder Architect to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role will lead and coordinate stakeholder and statutory authority engagement for complex development projects on behalf of our clients and WSP.

• Coordinate stakeholder functions for client’s development team on behalf of WSP.
• Drive the design process independently, from concept through detailed design and delivery, maintaining alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead and manage compliance with architectural design teams on large-scale, complex projects, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines. Coordinate and manage the stakeholder requirements within the team and similarly communicate the team requirements and objectives with the specific statutory authority/stakeholders and ensure design is compliant to statutory authority requirements.
• Review and apprise design applications to authorities for approval, permits, NOC, conflicts, and other design related approvals required for developments construction permits.
• Represent the practice in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, articulating design proposals and strategic decisions effectively.
• Monitor and report on the status of all submissions, meetings, and any other relevant authority engagements.
• Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, presentations, and client engagement activities.
• Monitor financial performance of projects, sharing responsibility for delivering on time and within budget.
• Support team members in achieving their professional goals.
• Prepare and review Consultant's and Contractor's stakeholder management plans, processes and documentation for business development.
• Manage key stakeholder interfaces and prepare process flow charts related to approvals.
• Input into projects design program permitting timelines and advice strategies to deliver a compliant design as per authority procedures.
• Support the business for key licensing and prequalification discussions related to licensing and registration of new activities required by the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Well versed in the authority requirements and design NOC process.
• Acquaintance with authorities and capable of building working relationships with statutory authorities.
• Minimum 8 years’ work experience required,
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written both in English and Arabic.
• Skills in building design, masterplan and building construction industry and project management.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM workflows, and design.
• Experience of managing people and the pressure of working in a fast-paced environment.
