Principal Technology Architect

Job Description:

• In the role of Principal Technology Architect you will drive architecture policies standards technology roadmaps reference architectures and preferred products to direct and guide all technology decisions within the client organization
• You will also own and drive the direction for the strategy and architecture for IT in response to business strategy
• By working closely with strategic vendors and IT platform leads you will provide architecture and solution design assurance by performing the role of a Lead Architect
• The evaluation of new products that enhance business value for the client organization promoting architecture standards and guidelines awareness and maintaining architecture artefacts and blueprints will also be your responsibility

• Provide well conceived clearly articulated pragmatic solutions and recommendations to complex business problems
• Provide high end consulting services to stakeholders across the client domains to ensure the delivery of strategic outcomes
• Responsible for the development of solutions for one or more complex portfolios domains to ensure effective solutions are designed in accordance with business value priorities business requirements client s standards and technology strategy
• Responsible for business and technology collaboration and ensure effective engagement with various delivery partners
• Define the architecture policies standards processes reference architectures and solution and architecture building blocks for the enterprise and drive governance thereof
• Knowledge of established EA frameworks like TOGAF and their application
• Knowledge of Retail and Consumer Banking industry from high level functional perspective
• Knowledge and awareness of emerging technology trends and solutions relevant to Banking and FS industry
• Deep understanding of Business Architecture Data Architecture Application Architecture Technology Architecture and Security Architecture
• Desirable
• Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of key business and technology trends in the banking industry to arrive at the solution
• Knowledge of security and data architecture applicable for banking domain
• Knowledge of EA tools to maintain the architecture plans and roadmaps

Technical Requirements:

• Technology Java or DotNet stack background Enterprise Architecture Enterprise Architecture Integration and Knowledge of multiple technologies applicable to Banking industry AWS Azure Cloud UI frameworks DevOps GenAI etc
