Title: Principal User Experience Designer
Locations: Fully Remote, anywhere in the US
Duration: Contract (6+ Months)
Pay Rate: $65 per hour on W2

Requirements:
Experience leading hardware user experience design for smart consumer electronic products.
Background in user-centered design and proven track record on leveraging the UCD process to imagine, iterate and qualify great product experiences.
Proven track record in delivering critical design support for the successful launch of new user, market, or functional offerings.
Fluency in agile and iterative design and development methodologies.
Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative quality metrics to measure product acceptability and desirability as well as the processes by which to develop, maintain and leverage them.
Demonstrable portfolio of products for which you led the end-to-end product design lifecycle.
Excellent negotiation, collaboration and communication skills.
Experience designing or partnering with the design of platforms used for key product experiences.
Establish strategies for achieving individual and team goals while balancing both big picture concerns as well as day-to-day activities.
Ability to work with global teams and improve design processes.
Key additional information:
Candidate must have a strong understanding of hardware UX (example: keyboards and screens- think attachment or display connected to a keyboard).
Candidate will partner and collaborate with the Software UX team, physical UX team (lighting team), and the product and engineering teams.
PUX understanding- think interaction on experience with touch/buttons.
Software UX knowledge & understanding.
Hardware UX will have more weight than Software UX.
