Principle Service Specialist

Tuesday 30 December 2025 Hybrid Working As a Lead Service Specialist, you will guide teams in building, developing, and supporting LBG’s systems and services. You will continuously challenge, motivate, mentor, and support your teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Your deep technical expertise will enable you to work within or lead cross-disciplinary teams, resolving service-related and management issues while ensuring technical priorities are met.

• Develops and/or delivers budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Identifies shortcomings, suggests improvements and implements approved revisions to current compliance processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline.
• Manages the development and/or operation of significant aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Takes responsibility for implementing a team's formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues, while informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.
• Identifies shortcomings, then suggests and implements improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects or a workstream within the organisation's change management programme with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Manages the development and/or operation of knowledge management system with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Develops and/or delivers a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.
• Sets longer term objectives and takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation.
• Develops innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.
• Analyses and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposals for complex products/services, then develops and amends as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a product development/specialist team.
• Manages the development and/or delivery of an element of the organisation's strategic planning.
