Print Operator

Something Spectacular Prints is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Print Production Specialist to join our growing team. We are a full-service print shop specializing in custom apparel, large-format printing, event materials, and specialty products.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in the printing industry who can operate multiple machines and manage production from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of printing equipment
• Produce high-quality prints for:
• T-shirts (DTG, heat press, sublimation)
• Photo boards and foam boards
• Vinyl backdrops and banners
• Custom event materials
• Prepare and set up print files using design and RIP software
• Ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
• Manage workflow to meet deadlines and customer expectations
• Assist with material selection and production planning

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of professional print shop experience (REQUIRED)
• Proven experience operating:
• UV Flatbed Printers
• HP Roll-to-Roll Printers
• Glowforge Pro (laser cutting/engraving)
• RICOH 1000 (DTG printer)
• Strong knowledge of print software (Adobe Suite, RIP software, etc.)
• Experience with:
• Sublimation printing
• Heat press operations
• Large-format printing
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control

Preferred Qualifications

• Graphic design experience (a plus)
• Experience in event printing and custom orders
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
