Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Print Operator to join our vibrant manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various printing presses and finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise in print processes, color management, and quality control will ensure that every project meets our rigorous standards. Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor a variety of printing equipment, including flexo presses, CNC machines, and screen printing setups to ensure precise output.
  • Prepare print jobs by setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and troubleshooting issues to optimize quality and efficiency.
  • Manage prepress tasks such as layout design, typography adjustments, color calibration, and file preparation using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks throughout the printing process to detect defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine maintenance, and quality inspections for accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members on machine maintenance, machining tasks, or forklift operations to support smooth workflow operations.
  • Implement safety protocols during all phases of printing and manufacturing activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with screen printing, flexo press operation
  • Strong knowledge of prepress processes including layout design, typography, color management, and print advertising standards.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures to maintain high standards in printed materials.
  • Monitor press performance, quality, and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Pass color vision (Ishihara), drug, background, and mechanical aptitude tests
  • Printing press experience preferred (Heidelberg a plus)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Review job orders (quantities, materials, colors)
  • Maintain documentation and update OMS system
  • Coordinate with feeder operator and manage daily tasks
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and shift handover prep
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to procedures
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of machining techniques related to print production equipment maintenance.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
