We are seeking a detail-obsessed Print Production Designer to support our Stationery & Hard Home design team. In this role, you'll transform artwork into clean, accurate, production-ready files that vendors can execute seamlessly. This is a print production and graphic execution role supporting consumer products for one of the largest off-price retailers.

This position is ideal for candidates coming from print shops, greeting card companies, stationery brands, packaging production, or production-focused graphic design roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and adapt artwork into vendor-ready, print production files for stationery and hard home products.
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate product templates based on vendor specs.
  • Ensure artwork is technically correct, properly structured, color-corrected, and follows approved design direction.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Technical Designer to understand project priorities and deadlines.
  • Build, review, and finalize files to reflect design comments and Product Development requests.
  • Print color-accurate proofs for internal review and final approval.
  • Keep file structures, naming conventions, and version histories extremely organized.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Senior Designers, Product Development, and TD Managers.
  • Support the execution of high-quality finished products through precise, detail-driven file preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail - accuracy and consistency are everything in this role.
  • Experience preparing production-ready artwork for print.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge.
  • Understanding of bleeds, layering, file setup, color space, and vendor specifications.
  • Strong organizational and file-management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear communicator - able to receive, interpret, and implement design feedback.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to troubleshoot file issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-moving design + PD team.
