Print Specialist

Job Summary

Duties

• Operate and maintain various printing equipment including screen printing presses, flexo presses, and CNC machinery to produce high-quality prints.
• Prepare artwork files using prepress techniques, ensuring accurate color management and layout design before production.
• Manage color consistency across multiple print runs by utilizing color management tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to review and adjust designs for optimal print quality and visual appeal.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies.
• Set up and troubleshoot printing machines, including flexo presses and CNC equipment, to optimize efficiency and output quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, operate forklifts for material handling, and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in screen printing, flexo press operation, or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management, typography, layout design, and graphic design principles.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for preparing print-ready files.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and machining processes used in print manufacturing.
• Ability to perform quality control inspections and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
• Physical ability to operate forklifts safely and handle materials efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and troubleshoot technical issues promptly. Pay: $22.53 - $27.13 per hour
