Printing Operator / Printing Department Supervisor – Metal Packaging (Offset Printing)

DAIM Pak is a growing manufacturer of aluminium packaging solutions, specializing in aluminium ROPP closures and metal packaging components. We operate high-speed metal offset printing lines with in-line coating and conventional ovens, supplying both local and international markets.

We are currently looking for an experienced Printing Operator / Printing Department Supervisor to manage and operate our metal offset printing operations.

Printing Operations

• Operate and set up metal offset printing machines, including Crabtree and Mailänder presses
• Handle in-line coating systems and conventional ovens
• Ensure accurate colour matching, print registration, and coating quality
• Perform plate mounting, ink preparation, and press adjustments
• Monitor production parameters to minimize wastage and downtime
• Maintain print quality according to customer specifications and internal standards

Supervisory & Department Management

• Supervise and coordinate the printing department team
• Plan daily production schedules in coordination with production planning
• Train operators and assistants on machine operation and safety procedures
• Enforce quality control, 5S, and HSE standards
• Identify and troubleshoot printing, coating, or oven-related issues
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective maintenance
• Report production output, defects, and downtime to management

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food-grade packaging standards (where applicable)
• Maintain proper documentation for production and quality checks
• Work closely with QA/QC to meet customer and export requirements
