Job Description:
The Printing Services Assistant supports the daily operations of the Printing Services Office and Mailroom by delivering high‑quality printing, copying, binding, and mailing services for college departments and programs. This role is essential to ensuring professional‑quality print production, accurate mail processing, and timely delivery while providing excellent customer service to internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce professional print jobs using high‑capacity digital printing and finishing equipment, including copying, binding, and related services.
- Operate mailroom equipment to process outgoing mail, determine accurate postage, and ensure materials are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Serve as a primary contact for printing and mailing requests by assisting customers, clarifying job requirements, providing status updates, and responding to general inquiries.
- Coordinate and prioritize multiple print and mail projects to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records related to print and mail services, including job tracking and postage documentation.
- Monitor inventory, report supply needs, and assist with restocking materials.
- Provide operational support and coverage during the absence of the Printing Services Supervisor.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with college policies and procedures.
Wage Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this position is $15.67 - $21.39, however, the actual rate will be commensurate with education and/or experience. This position is part-time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
