This position will operate and maintain our printing equipment, handle job preparation, and perform routine maintenance like cleaning and refilling supplies. This role can involve preparing files on a computer, setting up printers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use software to adjust, prepare, and RIP digital artwork for printing.
  • Load and feed paper or other printing materials into machines.
  • Set up and operate large-format printers, roll media laminators, and cutting plotters.
  • Inspect and examine printed materials for quality and accuracy, ensuring that they meet all specifications and requirements.
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure job requirements are met.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents.
  • Maintain inventory of printing supplies, such as ink and paper, and reorder as needed.
  • Perform maintenance of printers and related equipment

Knowledge:

  • Production and Processing- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
  • Mechanical- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.

  • Critical Thinking- Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Abilities:

  • Ability to operate in a production-driven environment and perform at the required standards.

Required Qualifications (Measurable):

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ Years Experience operating printers or related equipment Preferred.
  • Experience with ERP system and proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word preferred.
  • 2+ Years Experience with Adobe photoshop, illustrator, and CorelDRAW software preferred.
