Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Accountant to join our expanding team in Al Wakrah. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions for high-net-worth clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage complex financial portfolios while providing a high level of client service and tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full accounting lifecycle for private client portfolios, including investments, assets, liabilities, and income sources.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for private clients, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
• Reconcile client accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and identifying discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Work closely with private clients, understanding their financial needs and offering personalized accounting and investment reporting solutions.
• Assist clients with tax-related matters, including the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Monitor and track investment performance, providing regular reports to clients on returns, risks, and portfolio diversification.
• Ensure that all client transactions, including income, capital gains, and expenses, are recorded correctly.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in managing sensitive financial data and client relationships.
• Collaborate with external parties such as tax advisors, lawyers, and investment consultants to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in private client accounting and wealth management.
• Provide insights and advice on financial strategies aimed at optimizing wealth preservation, growth, and tax efficiency for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in private client accounting, wealth management, or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and their specific wealth management and reporting needs.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and their external advisors in a professional and clear manner.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and client needs simultaneously.
• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• A CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification would be advantageous.
