Responsibilities

• Develop customized lesson plans that align with each student’s interests, skill levels, and learning objectives across diverse subjects such as arts, dance, culinary arts, or academic topics.
• Deliver engaging private lessons in a variety of disciplines including but not limited to ballet, theater, photography, cooking, sewing, or early childhood education.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and growth during each session.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate continued improvement.
• Collaborate with students and their families or guardians to set achievable goals and ensure a rewarding learning experience.
• Maintain a safe, organized space conducive to focused learning while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring within one or more specialized areas such as arts, dance, culinary arts, theater, or early childhood education.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to work effectively with children and adults of diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to individual learner needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with classroom experience across various disciplines including special education or preschool environments is a plus.
