Private Nanny

A warm and busy family in Katonah, NY is seeking a nurturing and reliable after-school nanny to support their 7-year-old son. This is a long-term, part-time position with a consistent weekday schedule, focused on providing stability, engagement, and thoughtful care after school.

Responsibilities include school pickup, transporting the child to activities, supporting homework, preparing simple meals, and assisting with the evening routine. The ideal candidate is patient, communicative, and proactive, with a genuine interest in building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and family. This position offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with a guaranteed 20 hours per week and the potential for additional hours. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience, with industry-standard benefits. Employment is on payroll (W-2).

A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle are required, as driving is a key component of the role (mileage reimbursed). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and comfortable collaborating closely with parents to maintain consistency in the child’s routine.
