DK Therapy, LLC, a thriving group private practice in Chicago, is looking for a psychotherapist to provide therapy to clients of DK Therapy. Since 2018, we've been building something we're proud of a practice where clients receive meaningful, high-quality care and therapists actually enjoy coming to work.

What We're Looking For
We're hiring both fully licensed and provisionally licensed therapists ready to build a meaningful caseload in a well-run, supportive practice. We're especially interested in clinicians with experience or interest in:
- Individual therapy for adults and teens (15+)
- Couples therapy (Gottman Method, EFT, or willingness to be trained)
- Anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and grief
- Hybrid in-person and telehealth work
- Evening and/or weekend availability
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Active Illinois license: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD — or provisional license (LPC or LSW) with supervision required
- Provisionally licensed clinicians are welcome and encouraged to apply (on-site supervision provided)
- At least one clinical niche or specialty area (training in Gottman Method/EFT for couples, trauma, EMDR, ACT/DBT, substance abuse, etc.) that is aligned with the current population that DK Therapy serves
- Tech-savvy and comfortable in a paperless, hybrid practice environment
Preferred but not required:
- Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience
- Training/Experience in Gottman Method, EFT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, or IFS (or openness to training)
- Training/Experience in working with clients struggling with substance abuse
- Currently paneled with BCBS or other major insurance panels
Schedule & Location
- Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60605 — a beautiful, historic landmark in the heart of the Loop
- Hybrid model: combination of in-person and telehealth sessions
- Clinicians establish agreed-upon availability blocks (AM, PM, and/or weekend options)
- Minimum availability: 20 session hours per week, including 2 evenings and one weekend day
- Full-time target: Building up to an average 20 completed sessions per week
What We Offer
Compensation
- Commission-based pay: 50–60% of collected fees, based on licensure and experience
- Bonus opportunities: ($50 per blog post for up to 2/month, $20/hour for up to 2 community networking meetings per month)
- Up to 6 additional PTO hours + a $200 cash bonus annually through our note completion incentive program (total annual value up to $500)
Flexibility & Balance
- Hybrid in-person and telehealth model
- Clinicians establish agreed-upon availability blocks (AM, PM, and/or weekend options)
- No expectations to be in the office unless you have in-office clients or a mandatory meeting scheduled
Time Off
- Full-time employees: paid personal leave front-loaded annually (7 days at 0–2 years, increasing with tenure)
- Part-time employees: PTO accrual based on hours worked
- Paid sick leave in compliance with Illinois and Chicago ordinances
- Flexible vacation and time-off approach
- Earn up to 6 additional PTO hours per year through our note completion incentive program
