Job Summary

K2E Tutoring is seeking a caring and dedicated After School Tutor YEAR ROUND to provide individualized instruction and support to students in Kindergarten Prep and grades K-5 Reading and Math. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a passion for education. The Tutor will work closely with students to identify learning gaps and create customized lesson plans to help them achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

- Drive to family homes for sessions. Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student.

- Provide one-on-one instruction and support to students in a face to face or online setting.

- Monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed.

- Communicate with students, and parents to ensure that students are meeting their tutoring goals.

- Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson plans. - Conduct research and gather materials necessary for instruction.

- Ensure that all interactions with students are safe, respectful, and inclusive.

Experience

Experience working with children of various ages, including preschool and early childhood education and elementary preferred.

- Proven experience in the field of education. Experience with lesson planning and time management.

- Ability to work effectively with students who require additional support. A strong commitment to education and a passion for helping students succeed.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team with parents.

- Strong educational background, preferably relevant certifications and degrees.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

• Tutoring or teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Detroit, MI (Preferred)
