Private Tutor

SAT and academic tutors wanted! We tutor at an attractive Manhasset office by the LIRR train station, and at community centers in Garden City and Syosset. Ideal tutors are:

• An expert in a high school academic subject and a college graduate
• Conscientious, punctual, reliable, and on top of organizational tasks
• Excellent at communicating with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proactive and efficient in your work
• Team-oriented and coachable
• Enthusiastic and positive!

Tutors must:

• Have a 4 year college degree from a great university
• Commit to a minimum of 12 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor in person during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at Test Takers through the end of the 2026/27 school year
