Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable PRN Anesthesia Technician to support our Operating Room team on rotating shifts. In this role, you will provide critical technical and clinical support to the anesthesia care team before, during, and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies, assisting with room turnover, supporting efficient OR workflow, and ensuring anesthesia areas remain fully stocked, organized, and procedure ready.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.

• Prepare, maintain, troubleshoot, and stock anesthesia equipment, machines, carts, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Provide technical and clinical support to anesthesia providers and Operating Room staff before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with room setup, turnover, invasive line preparation, patient transport support, and anesthesia monitoring equipment.
• Maintain infection prevention, equipment maintenance, and patient safety standards throughout the perioperative environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate supply replenishment, and ensure anesthesia work areas remain organized and procedure ready.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, nurses, and surgical teams to support efficient OR workflow and quality patient care.
Other duties as assigned.

Shift/Schedule: PRN. Must have the ability to work rotating shifts based on departmental and operational needs.

Licensure & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room or Anesthesia Department experience required.
• Working knowledge of sterile technique required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Anesthesia Technician Certification (ASSTT) required within 1 year of employment.
• Prior experience preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment preferred.

Shift/Schedule: PRN. Must have the ability to work rotating shifts based on departmental and operational needs.

COMPENSATION

• Pay Range: $21.27- $34.62
