The Role

AMS, in partnership with ABB, is looking for you.

If you are passionate about proactive sourcing and enjoy connecting top talent with meaningful career opportunities, this could be your next step. You will join an experienced global talent acquisition team and work closely with a regional recruitment partner to support hiring across the IMEA region.

What you will do

As a Proactive Talent Sourcer, you will focus on identifying, attracting, and engaging high calibre professionals across Automation business area. You will play a key role in building a strong and diverse talent pipeline for the IMEA market.

ABB is a global technology leader in electrification and automation. Across the Middle East and North Africa, ABB partners with industries, utilities, and infrastructure providers to deliver solutions that improve energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.

In the IMEA region, ABB plays an important role in supporting digital transformation, smart energy initiatives, and large scale industrial projects. The company has a strong footprint in Egypt and across the Gulf, contributing to the development of critical infrastructure and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work from the client office two times per week.

Key Accountabilities

• Acting as a strategic sourcing partner to one AMS Regional Recruitment Partner
• Interpreting resourcing plans and defining role requirements together with the recruiter
• Developing creative sourcing strategies including networking, headhunting, and engaging passive talent
• Conducting talent mapping and advanced Boolean searches across LinkedIn, company websites, and other sourcing platforms
• Ensuring a continuous pipeline of highly relevant candidates for each open role
• Providing timely updates and maintaining strong communication with your Recruitment Partner

What we are looking for

You are a proactive sourcing specialist who enjoys building strong working relationships and taking ownership of your market.

You bring:

• Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
• Strong experience in direct search, proactive sourcing, headhunting, and candidate attraction
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• A results focused mindset
• Strong analytical skills and a data driven approach
• Creativity in conducting complex searches and identifying hard to find talent

You are also able to:

• Influence, negotiate, and persuade effectively
• Present information clearly and confidently
• Analyse data, draw conclusions, and communicate insights with impact
