We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Probate Estate Planning Trust Accounting Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. Duties
- Assist attorneys with estate planning, probate proceedings, and trust administration by preparing and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and court filings.
- Manage trust accounting records, ensuring accurate tracking of assets, distributions, and fiduciary responsibilities in compliance with applicable laws.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Perform document review and manage case files using document management systems; ensure all records are organized and up-to-date.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling client interviews, and maintaining detailed case timelines.
- Draft legal correspondence, reports, summaries, and other documents with precision; proofread for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, transcription, phone etiquette, and maintaining organized electronic and physical files.
Qualifications
- Paralegal experience or legal administrative experience with a strong understanding of estate planning, probate law, or trust administration.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential.
- Effective interviewing skills to gather client information accurately; professional phone etiquette is required.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating excellent clerical skills including data entry and filing.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
