Role Description

This is a full-time role for an experienced Paralegal in our Tax/Probate department. We are looking for a motivated team-member who is detail-oriented and can manage a steady workload. This position will have a high level of contact with clients and the ideal candidate should be communicative, approachable, conscientious, and client focused.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating directly with clients and team members through all aspects of estate and trust administration and related fact-finding and document preparation; file management; credit report requests; document formation and management; filing documents; meeting participation and special projects; and additional duties as assigned.

Key Skillset:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal within the areas of Estate Planning and Probate
• Experience preparing Form 706, United States Estate (and Generation-Skipping Transfer) Tax Returns
• Strong detail orientation
• Excellent writing, research, and proofreading skills
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Independent judgment and discretion in management of workload
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of working with law firm case/document management programs
• Ability to perform effectively within established time limits and ongoing deadlines
• Notary Public or willing to become a Notary Public
• Paralegal Certificate a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
