About the job Process Design Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Design Engineer at TAQA Water in Cairo, Egypt.

• Perform the Process Design & Equipment Selection for RO Desalination Projects.
• Perform Detailed Process Design Package [Hydraulic, Mechanical & Chemical] Calculations.
• Prepare Layouts, Process Flow Diagrams [PFD], Process & Instrumentation Diagrams [P&ID].
• Develop the Control Philosophy for the Operation of RO Water Desalination Projects.
• Prepare Full Project Deliverables Package [BOM] to be Procured through the Procurement Department.
• Monitor & Control the Internal Backoffice Operations to Ensure the Successful Operation of Desalination Plants.
• Interface with Other Internal Engineering Disciplines [Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Automation/Architecture] to Ensure Coordinated Designs & Complete Engineering Deliverables.
• Study Process Problems, Analyzing Issues & Performs Necessary Design Corrective Modifications.
• Follow Up on the Inside/Outside Repair Services for the Defected Equipment.
• Prepare the Technical/Financial Proposals During the tendering Phase of the Desalination Projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Engineering Process Design and Process Engineering Skill
• Expertise in Water Treatment [0-2 Years]
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to Work Collaboratively in a Team Environment
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
• English Language Fluency.
