Job Summary: The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes in the mobile phone assembly plant. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Development and Optimization:
- Develop and document manufacturing processes for mobile phone assembly.
- Analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Optimize workflows and layout for maximum efficiency and productivity
Quality Control:
- Establish and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues related to the assembly process.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement process changes and track their effectiveness.
Equipment and Tooling:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and select appropriate tools and equipment for assembly processes.
- Ensure all equipment and tooling are properly maintained and calibrated.
Training and Support:
- Train production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to production teams.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and changes.
- Prepare and present reports on process performance, improvements, and outcomes.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all processes comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to support manufacturing goals.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on process changes and improvements.
- Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Optimize workflows and layout for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in process engineering, preferably in the electronics or mobile phone manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
