Process Engineer
Responsibilities

Design and Innovate: Take ownership of process design, including automation, and lead maintenance activities to ensure seamless operations.

Optimize Production: Analyze processes, implement Lean tools, and develop innovative solutions to boost productivity, reduce scrap rates, and minimize operational risks.

Collaborate and Solve: Work with multidisciplinary teams to execute process improvement projects, troubleshoot emergencies, and standardize maintenance processes.
-
Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) studies and contribute to the design and specification of new machinery and equipment.

Empower Teams: Support the Operations department by training teams, conducting root cause analyses, and defining actions to resolve downtime and quality issues.

Measure Success: Maintain and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and measurable success.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a reputable university.

Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in process development or maintenance within metal stamping facilities.

Language Skills: English skills (written and verbal); German is a plus.

Skills needed for Success in this role:

Strong knowledge of metal stamping processes, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and automation systems.

Expertise in sensor technologies, signal processing, and technical data interpretation (e.g., complex technical drawings, machine details).

Proven ability to apply Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools to drive impactful results.
