Process Engineer

Looking for a Process Engineer with strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles to support basic and detailed engineering design in process industries. The role involves preparing heat/mass balances, equipment sizing/selection, PFDs, P&IDs, BOMs, and datasheets, along with vendor coordination, cost control, and site support. The candidate will engage in technical discussions with stakeholders, clients, and consultants, and provide technical input across the project lifecycle - from pre-sales through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform process calculations (line sizing, pump hydraulics, heat exchangers, control valve/PRV/PSV selection).
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Participate in procurement cycle: datasheets, vendor queries, offer comparison, drawing approvals.
• Support project execution: cost control, troubleshooting, commissioning, and validation (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ).
• Explore new vendors/components for cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Apply and ensure compliance with ASME BPE, ISPE, cGMP, USP & EU guidelines.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Petrochemical, Chemical & Oil & Gas process design.
• Hands-on with EPC design phases – Conceptual, Basic & Detailed design.
• Expertise in process calculations, energy/mass balance, utilities, thermal design, validation protocols.
• Proactive, cost-conscious, good communicator, and effective team player.
