Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Monitor daily plant performance and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Support new product development and process validation activities.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth process operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical support during equipment installation, commissioning, and trials.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to process parameters, improvements, and audits.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of process design, control systems, and production equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in MS Office and process simulation tools (if applicable).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in process engineering or production in a manufacturing setup.
