Process Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

The Process Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses and to lead the change management role on projects, ensuring all inputs are available, factory is geared up for new innovations, VIP, product transfers, roll-outs, recipe changes, line extension within an agreed time plan.

She/he will apply extensively the full range of Focussed Improvement, Autonomous Pillar, Quality pillar methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Operations, Quality, Cost Deployment and optimize the cost for Operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working directly with the line crews and Technical Teams daily to identify the losses and countermeasure. The Process Engineer also acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures as well.

The Process Engineer is responsible for improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is to eliminate losses and wastes using WCM/UMS/Continuous improvement methodologies and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of semi-autonomous teams to Autonomous Team. Implementation of Focused improvement pillar &Autonomous Pillar, Supporting Planned maintenance, Quality Pillar

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering Graduate

  • Minimum 3 years factory role, continuous improvement/Process engineer experience in FMCG industry, Personal care / Beauty and Wellbeing experience preferred

  • Hands on Experience on managing Focused Improvement projects,

  • Hands on experience of WCM/TPM/Manufacturing Excellence

  • Must demonstrate a strong technical knowledge from previous practice with evidence of elimination wastes and losses from production lines. Must possess strong engineering leadership credentials with a proven ability to manage highly automated Lines/Process.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Analytical capability. Collect and analyses complex data to penetrate problems’ phenomena and understand root causes.

  • Various Root cause analysis tools and countermeasures
