Position: Processing Associate
Department: Thrift Store
Reports to: Assistant Thrift Store Manager
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Part-Time: 24 hrs./week, rotating Saturdays (not a seasonal position)
Summary
The Processing Associate is responsible for maintaining an efficient processing area and for ensuring a positive drop-off experience for all customers. This will be accomplished by providing a warm welcome at drop-off; maintaining a clean, well-organized, efficient processing area; processing items for the sales floor; pushing product to the sales floor; and assisting in other areas of the store and backroom, as needed. The Processing Associate will be cross-trained in all areas of the processing and retail environment to include, but not limited to providing excellent customer service, cash-handling procedures, receiving and processing donated goods, and pricing and stocking.
