Process / Proposal Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: 4–6 years in Water & Wastewater Treatment
Education: B.E. / Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering

Responsibilities

• Review client RFQs and raise RFIs.
• Develop schemes and prepare BOQs based on RFQs.
• Identify deviations and qualifications.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations and align with project requirements.
• Prepare costing, proposals, and preliminary design calculations (sizing, pressure drop, power, operating costs).
• Draft technical submittals with preliminary drawings (schematics, layouts).
• Maintain database of manufacturers, fabricators, and dealers.
• Prepare risk committee documents and cash flow analysis for major projects.
• Develop technical literature for non-standard equipment.
• Support sales team with optimized designs during negotiations.
• Coordinate with engineering team for post-contract clarifications.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by management.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong technical knowledge in:
• Applications: Domestic water, desalination, wastewater treatment, high purity water, leisure water systems, drinking water, HVAC.
• Technologies: Filters, RO/UF systems, Legionella control (ionisers, chlorine dioxide, UV), membranes (RO, UF, NF), STP/ETP (MBR, MBBR, SBR, SAFF), specialized wastewater, ion exchange, side stream filters.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask under pressure.
• High integrity, work ethics, and positive attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
