Could you be the full-time Procure to Pay Senior Associate - Payments in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your accounting and financial expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of procure-to-pay processes, contributing to Alstom's operational efficiency and financial accuracy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Sourcing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Country/Region Treasury), handle supplier reconciliations, and process payments and travel expenses, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of payables and disbursements, but also support travel and expense-related processes.
We’ll look to you for:
Receiving and validating physical and electronic documents
Processing 3-way, 2-way, and exception invoices
Managing credit notes, recoveries, and retentions
Preparing and publishing payment schedules
Executing various payment methods and reconciling bank debits
Handling travel and expense claims, including compliance checks and reconciliations
Publishing SLA compliance reports and maintaining SOPs
Training new hires and contributing to knowledge transfer projects

Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in accounting, with exposure to ERPs being a plus
Understanding of accounting principles and basic skills in accounting tools
Working knowledge of Excel and MS Office tools
Certification in Accounts Payable (desirable)
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Team-playing skills and the ability to adhere to set guidelines
