Position Summary
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and improving procurement processes and supplier performance to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, services, and equipment. This role involves collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings, as well as supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The Procurement Analyst works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure compliance, optimize purchasing decisions, and support the overall goals of the procurement department.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance trends, and process improvements.

Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and service level agreements.

Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on procurement activities, market trends, and supplier performance.

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Legal) to ensure procurement requirements are clearly understood and met.

Support RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs by conducting supplier evaluations, cost analysis, and bid comparisons.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Maintain and update procurement databases and contract repositories.

Track and manage purchase orders, contract expirations, and renewals.

Assist in negotiating terms with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Required Experience

Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in procurement, contracts management, sourcing, category management, or data analysis.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

C.S.P. (Certified Sourcing Professional), CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management), or equivalent.

Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.

Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis. This is an in-office, hybrid position.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX

Work Schedule
This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
