  • Five years of verifiable construction experience

Job Summary:

The Contract Administrator is responsible for assembling bid packages (requesting bid bonds, completing affidavits, and prequalification statements; assisting estimators) as well as preparing contract documents for signatures. This person will also be responsible for processing any required permits, ODOT and City requirements (DBE reporting, site exchange, etc.), and OKIE locates. The Contract Administrator will be a liaison between the estimators and the accounting department. This person will be assisting the estimators with subcontracts and change orders, as well as monthly billing to the GC’s/owners of the projects. The Contract Administrator must be proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Windows, Office, Excel, and Word. Experience in accounting software is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist estimators with bids
  • Process contracts, assist with subcontracts
  • Obtain required permits, OKIE locates
  • Monthly billing
  • Process change orders
  • Keep track of subcontracts (billing, payments, lien waivers)
  • Assist estimators and accounting department as directed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Willing to learn and take direction well, i.e., team player.
  • Ability to learn and be trained in company procedures, policies, and construction principles which include Microsoft Office/Project/Excel/Word, and Vista by Viewpoint.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software as required to complete job duties.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude toward work including striving for maximum production.

  • Organized and efficient in prosecuting multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks on time and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze problems and strategize for successful solution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
