Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, negotiate favorable terms, and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for savings or alternative sourcing.
- Oversee procurement planning based on business needs, project timelines, and inventory requirements.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and approval workflows, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support business objectives and resolve procurement issues.
- Monitor compliance with procurement policies, ensuring proper documentation, audit readiness, and internal controls.
- Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, lead times, supplier performance, and contract adherence.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or strategic sourcing role.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms.
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices, contract structures, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP platforms, and Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Experience in regional or global procurement, or familiarity with compliance frameworks, is a plus.
