Position Overview:
International Motors' Huntsville Powertrain Plant is the crown jewel of our manufacturing network—building our industry‑leading S13 engine and T14 transmission with world‑class precision and performance.
We are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our team!
As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a critical role in keeping the Huntsville Powertrain Plant running efficiently and cost‑effectively. You’ll lead sourcing strategies for all indirect goods across the facility—researching suppliers, soliciting competitive quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring the plant has the materials and services it needs to operate at peak performance.
In this highly visible role, you’ll partner closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, and corporate procurement to drive smart purchasing decisions, strengthen supplier relationships, and contribute directly to the plant’s overall success. Responsibilities:
- Manage day‑to‑day material and purchasing activities, including inventory parts, spot buys, resolving payment or ordering discrepancies, coordinating repair quotes and shipments, and quickly addressing supplier short‑ or over‑shipments.

Maintain and optimize the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) database, ensuring accurate pricing, supplier updates, and efficient use of the supplier portal.

Lead and support cost‑reduction initiatives, collaborating with cross‑functional teams on strategic sourcing for new programs and business transfers.

Drive supplier performance excellence, conducting spend analysis, leveraging data analytics, and partnering with suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and no experience

At least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience
Additional Requirements:
