Procurement and Materials Manager

Job Title: Procurement & Materials Manager
Location: On-site (across multiple project sites)

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Procurement & Materials Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of materials across all Kingswood project sites. This role is operational and site-based, requiring close coordination with project managers, site supervisors, suppliers, and clients to ensure materials are procured, delivered, tracked, and utilised efficiently and cost-effectively.

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of material flow, reporting, and procurement processes, while also supporting general site administration and operations as required.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Cost Management

  • Source materials in a cost-effective manner by obtaining and comparing quotes from multiple suppliers
  • Conduct regular price benchmarking and supplier comparisons to ensure competitive rates
  • Place orders in a timely manner in line with site requirements and project timelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and efficiency

Materials Management & Logistics

  • Oversee the movement of materials across all sites, ensuring availability where needed
  • Personally attend supplier locations where required to collect materials
  • Coordinate drivers and logistics to ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials
  • Ensure proper allocation and distribution of materials across sites

Delivery & Quality Control

  • Receive and sign off on all material deliveries
  • Inspect materials upon arrival for quality, damage, and accuracy against orders
  • Ensure any discrepancies or issues are reported and resolved promptly

Inventory Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date material trackers across all sites
  • Monitor stock levels, usage, and availability
  • Produce weekly reports detailing:
  • Materials available and their locations
  • Materials utilised during the week
  • Any shortages, delays, or risks
  • Ensure systems and records are consistently updated and reliable

Site Coordination

  • Liaise daily with project managers and site supervisors to understand material needs
  • Ensure materials are delivered in line with site schedules and priorities
  • Support site teams in planning and coordinating material usage

Efficiency & Waste Control

  • Monitor material usage to minimise waste and inefficiencies
  • Ensure materials delivered are being properly utilised on site
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement and material handling processes

Administration & Additional Support

  • Support general site administration tasks as required
  • Assist project managers and site supervisors with operational and coordination tasks
  • Take on additional responsibilities across sites as needed, including cross-functional support

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement, materials management, or site operations
  • Strong organisational and tracking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities simultaneously
  • Good negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Hands-on approach with willingness to be on-site and involved in day-to-day operations
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset

Mon to Sat- 8am to 5pm

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
