We are now looking for a proactive and technically skilled Procurement & Sales Engineer to join our team and play a key role in sourcing, supplier management, and supporting sales operations.
Job Objective
To manage end-to-end procurement activities while supporting sales operations by preparing competitive technical and commercial offers, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying opportunities to promote inventory-based sales.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.
- Float inquiries, obtain and analyze technical/commercial quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times.
- Issue Purchase Orders through ERP/FOCUS system.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier database.
- Monitor market pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Sales & Commercial Support
- Review RFQs and prepare technically compliant offers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Support sales team in client communication and follow-ups.
- Promote in-stock inventory by identifying matching RFQs.
- Assist in client visits, exhibitions, and business development activities.
Supplier & Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and update Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
- Build long-term relationships with suppliers and clients.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with logistics and finance for smooth order execution.
- Provide updates on order status and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and quality standards.
- Adhere to HSE policies and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 2–5 years’ experience in procurement and/or sales within oil & gas or industrial supply sector in GCC
- Good technical understanding of oilfield equipment and materials.
- Experience using ERP systems (FOCUS preferred).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Commercially driven and target-oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
