Overview

A growing energy and industrial operations company is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Systems Manager to oversee digital tools, system configurations, and technology platforms supporting enterprise procurement activities. This position leads system enhancements, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives across procurement and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Ownership & Configuration

  • Serve as the primary business owner for digital procurement systems including e-procurement, travel/expense, contractor management, and field requisitioning tools.
  • Configure system workflows, approval routing, templates, catalogs, and user roles to meet evolving operational needs.
  • Maintain system data quality, troubleshoot user issues, and manage escalations.

Digital Transformation & Project Delivery

  • Lead implementation of new procurement technologies, upgrades, and platform expansions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage milestones, project schedules, testing cycles, and change management activities.
  • Define business requirements and ensure successful system adoption across multiple user groups.

Process Optimization & Analytics

  • Review existing workflows and identify automation or simplification opportunities.
  • Enhance procurement, sourcing, expense management, contractor time tracking, and field operations processes.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards using Power BI, combining data from multiple platforms to provide actionable business insights.

Vendor Management & User Support

  • Coordinate with software vendors, consultants, and IT teams to manage integrations, system performance, and support requests.
  • Oversee system documentation, training content, and onboarding materials for internal users.
  • Manage platform licensing, contracts, SLAs, and renewal cycles.

Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in supply chain, information systems, business, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain; 3+ years focused on procurement systems management.
  • Hands-on experience configuring tools such as SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, and mobile field/workforce platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards and data integration.
  • Strong project management capabilities; familiarity with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
  • Background supporting field operations, contractor labor workflows, or industrial sites is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement skills.
