A Procurement Assistant supports the purchasing and supply chain functions by managing administrative, vendor, and documentation tasks. The role ensures the organization acquires goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential vendors or suppliers.
  • Request price quotations and assist in negotiations to ensure favorable pricing and contract terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely approval and order tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier data, contracts, and inventory transactions.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Support the procurement manager in cost analysis and vendor evaluation.
  • Manage procurement documentation to ensure compliance with internal and legal policies.
  • Collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to reconcile invoices and manage goods receipt documentation.
  • Assist in stock monitoring and inventory control to maintain optimal levels.
  • Provide general administrative and reporting support to the procurement department.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,363.28 - ₹31,779.02 per month
