Procurement Associate

This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement and contracts management activities, ensuring efficient sourcing, cost optimization, supplier performance, and compliance with financial and procurement policies. The role plays a key part in supporting operational efficiency, strengthening vendor relationships, and driving strategic procurement initiatives across the organization.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee procurement and contracts management workflows, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and internal policies
  • Manage vendor sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and contract conditions to achieve cost efficiency and value creation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Monitor purchase orders, contract renewals, procurement documentation, and audit readiness processes
  • Track operational expenditure against budgets and identify potential cost overruns and savings opportunities
  • Implement supplier consolidation, cost optimization, and procurement efficiency initiatives
  • Coordinate with Finance and Accounts Payable teams to ensure invoice verification and payment accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare procurement MIS reports, savings dashboards, and management presentations to support decision-making
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete procurement records and control documentation


Experience / Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience within procurement, contracts management, supply chain, or related functions
  • Experience within the Middle East market is preferred
  • Professional certifications in procurement, supply chain, or related disciplines are an advantage
  • Strong understanding of procurement policies, contracts management, budgeting, and cost analysis
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, negotiations, and supplier performance
  • Knowledge of procurement systems, reporting tools, and digital procurement platforms preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment
