We are recruiting for our Saudi operations where you'll be joining a growing team of nearly 250 people supporting clients across the Kingdom realise Vision 2030 projects. Efficio have been operating in KSA since 2014 and opened the Riyadh office in 2019. During this time, we have worked on some of the region’s largest infrastructure and Giga projects, helping them manage their end-to-end cost portfolio, deliver value from procurement faster and meet Local Content and ICV requirements.

As a Procurement Business Partner at Efficio, you will be embedded with client procurement functions, delivering procurement activity to realise Saudi Vision 2030.
Vision 2030 is a strategic framework to reduce Saudi Arabia's dependence on oil, diversify its economy, and develop public service sectors including : Health, Education, Construction and Infrastructure, Recreation and Tourism.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, shaping sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks. With broad exposure across sectors such as construction & development, city operations, tourism & hospitality, corporate services, IT & digital, this is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional looking to make a significant impact.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as the primary procurement liaison for business stakeholders (senior executives, project managers, and VPs), ensuring procurement activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of category and tender strategies across a range of sectors (construction, operations, tourism, corporate services, IT/digital, and more).
  • Drive procurement planning and budgeting processes, including market engagement (RFI, prequalification), supplier market analysis, and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Develop forward procurement plans aligned with business/project delivery schedules and advise on sourcing strategies
  • Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders throughout the end-to-end requisition, sourcing, and purchase order process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with budget controls.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations during strategy development, sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance management.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, ensuring delivery against contractual commitments and resolving performance issues.
  • Support contract management (negotiations, claims handling, variation management, and contract close-out).
  • Analyse spend and supplier performance data, producing insights to drive efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced value delivery.
  • Champion knowledge transfer and stakeholder training, ensuring understanding of procurement systems and processes.
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs (e.g. procurement plan adherence), risks, and opportunities, escalating issues and driving continuous improvement.
  • 10+ years’ experience in procurement, with significant exposure to business partnering and sourcing roles across one or more relevant industries (e.g. construction & infrastructure, municipal/county operations, tourism & hospitality, IT & digital, corporate services).
  • Proven track record of influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to be based in remote environments as required
  • Strong understanding of procurement strategy, contract management, market research, and supplier governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and hands-on experience with ERP procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle).
  • Professional qualifications such as CIPS, MBA, or PMP (PMI) are desirable.
