Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Buyer to serve as the facility procurement resource and center of expertise, managing supplier and internal customer relations, and facilitating the resolution of supplier quality and service issues at our Juda and Wyocena facilities. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team to eliminate non-value-add costs by identifying and leveraging opportunities for a strategic, innovative, category management approach to tactical purchasing, thereby enhancing efficiency and fostering continuous improvement.

This position may be based at either the Juda or Wyocena facility and follows a hybrid work schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). The role includes approximately 20% travel to other Grande facilities.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or other related field required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience required, or related internship experience will also be considered.
  • Ability/willingness to travel between our Grande facilities 20% of the time.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, E.g., operating/maintenance manuals, business place work instructions and standard operation procedures.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, fractions, percentages, volumes and conversions. (apply general algebra and geometry concepts).

Preferred:

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • ISM or APICS Certifications (CPSM or CSCP) are desirable.
