Job Summary

Yellostone Technologies is seeking a proactive and strategic Procurement/Category Specialist to manage a diverse product portfolio and drive category growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep market understanding, and the ability to develop effective category strategies that support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to enhance sales, margin, and overall business performance.
• Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to optimize category performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely deliveries.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams for seamless execution of category plans.
• Track category performance KPIs and prepare regular reports, insights, and sales forecasts.
• Identify slow-moving or underperforming items and propose corrective action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in category management, procurement, merchandising, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant category management or procurement tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
