Position: Sourcing Specialist

Required Education: BSC Civil Engineer (must have qualification)

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant solid experience.

Required Skills: We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong experience in sourcing, procurement, and contract management to support NYC-based construction projects from our office. The role focuses on cost control, vendor management, and contractual support for US projects.Office Location: Bahria Town Phase 8, Rawalpindi

Salary: 90,000-130,000

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing and prequalification of vendors and subcontractors
• Preparation and issuance of RFQs/RFPs/RFIs
• Comparative analysis of bids and commercial evaluations
• Procurement of civil construction materials and subcontract works
• Contract drafting, review, and administration (subcontracts & POs)
• Monitoring compliance with contract terms, pricing, and timelines
• Handling variations, claims support, and change orders
• Coordination with US-based project managers, engineers, and consultants
• Cost tracking and procurement reporting for NYC projects

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in procurement / sourcing / contracts (civil construction)
• Experience with US or NYC projects preferred
• Strong understanding of civil materials, construction methods, and specifications
• Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD; Bluebeam / PlanSwift / Primavera is a plus
• Familiarity with US contracts, vendor terms, and compliance standards is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of US construction cost structures
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders/ subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
