Position Title: Procurement & Contracts Officer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract Type: Full-time

Start Date: Beginning of 2026


Job Description

The Procurement & Contracts Officer manages supplier communication, quotation requests, commercial evaluations, and purchase documentation. The candidate must have practical experience in trading companies, procurement agencies, or supply/distribution firms, with the ability to handle procurement operations independently in a startup environment.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 4–6 years experience in a trading company or procurement office .
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Preferred languages: Arabic & English.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with suppliers globally and request quotations.
  • Prepare RFQs, evaluations, and comparison sheets.
  • Review commercial and technical offers for completeness.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders, basic contracts, and records.
  • Maintain supplier files and procurement tracking logs.
  • Coordinate with logistics and finance for delivery and payment processing.
  • Submit regular procurement status reports to management.
