Procurement Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator with minimum 3 years of experience working in a Reputed Organization in the field of Procurement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all goods and services are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a thorough understanding of procurement policies and procedures. The Procurement Coordinator will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and ensure that all procurement activities align with the organization's goals and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing.
  • Manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Coordinate with various departments to understand their needs.
  • Monitor market trends and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders.
  • Resolve any issues related to procurement.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
  • Manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities.

  • Handle any discrepancies or disputes with suppliers.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Experience with contract management.
  • Knowledge of market trends and conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPP, CPIM) is a plus.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
