About the Role

Nutra19 is a growing nutraceutical manufacturer seeking a Procurement & Costing Specialist to support ingredient sourcing, vendor management, and product costing across our supplement portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with established nutraceutical vendor relationships who understands how products are built, costed, and scaled in a GMP-regulated environment.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure reliable sourcing, accurate costing, and smooth product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source nutraceutical ingredients and packaging from qualified domestic and international vendors
  • Leverage existing vendor relationships to obtain competitive pricing, lead times, and availability
  • Request, evaluate, and compare vendor quotes
  • Build and maintain accurate product and assembly costing for nutraceutical products
  • including tinctures, softgels, and other dosage forms
  • Develop and maintain BOMs, labor assumptions, and overhead allocations
  • Support new product launches by sourcing materials and validating costs
  • Maintain supplier documentation (specs, COAs, approvals) to support GMP compliance
  • Partner with Quality and R&D to qualify new ingredients and suppliers
  • Set up and maintain item data, cost structures, and purchasing records in internal systems
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies
  • Support audits by providing procurement and supplier documentation

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in nutraceutical or dietary supplement procurement
  • Established relationships with nutraceutical ingredient and/or packaging vendors
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with product costing or assembly costing
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly responsive

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience costing liquid tinctures and softgel products
  • Familiarity with contract manufacturers and private-label supplement production
  • Experience using QuickBooks Enterprise or similar ERP/accounting systems
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory documentation, or supplier qualification
