We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller with experience in production or manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling production costs, ensuring accurate product costing, and supporting management in improving operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare and maintain product cost sheets and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Analyze production costs and identify variances between actual and standard costs.
- Conduct cost analysis for new and existing products.
- Track material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Perform regular inventory checks for raw materials, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and finished goods.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance departments for accurate cost reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and management dashboards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in a manufacturing/production industry.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory control, and cost variance analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems and production costing modules.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
