Procurement Data Analyst

Location: On Site in Knoxville, TN or Charlotte, NC

Summary

Serves as the primary data analytics and insights partner for the Procurement Department. Responsible for developing, analyzing, and distributing enterprise-wide financial, operational, and vendor-related analytics to provide actionable insights across spend management and support strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and delivers comprehensive analytics, dashboards, and forecasts related to procurement spend, health of enterprise programs and overall business conditions within the Procurement Department.
  • Analyzes financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps across suppliers, categories, and properties; presents findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Supports strategic sourcing, supplier management, and operations initiatives by providing data-driven insights related to cost optimization, utilization, and working capital impacts.
  • Collects, validates, tracks, and maintains vendor and business unit data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability for reporting, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Partners with Procurement, Corporate Properties, Risk, and business unit stakeholders to ensure vendor performance metrics, risk ratings, regulatory requirements, and control documentation are completed and managed in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Automates and enhances reporting processes to improve data quality, efficiency, and transparency across the Procurement and Corporate Properties teams.
  • Ensures timely completion and ongoing compliance with all required regulatory, compliance, and role-specific training.
  • Performs additional analytics, reporting, and data support responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  • Bachelor (4-year college) degree with 3-5 years of experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experiential knowledge in PowerBI, Tableau, or other comparable visualization/BI tools.
