Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Job Description:

A contracting company specialized in commercial and administrative projects is seeking to hire a Procurement Engineer with strong experience in sourcing, supplier management, and technical and financial proposal preparation. The position is based at the company’s head office in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare RFQs and compile technical and financial comparisons for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best prices and terms.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on execution in coordination with technical and financial departments.
• Develop and regularly update the database of local and international suppliers.
• Ensure materials comply with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Contribute to improving procurement procedures and enhancing operational cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Architectural or related field).
• 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement within contracting or consultancy firms.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement management tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities and the capacity to work within multidisciplinary teams.
